1. I was still experimenting with darker skin tones in colored pencils, when "All Of It" was created. The dark umber was used for the bottom, and it has a purple undertone to it. This works beautifully with dark skin, in certain types of light, against particular colors. I thought it looked too artificial and far from a literal skin tone. But I blend it better now, with other colors, specifically other brown colors, and a little black, to subdue that bold violet-like tinge, it seems to produce. Overall, I like the results of the finished piece. I added the little jar as a container of lube. I chose a golden hue, for it, to suggest that it is a "very special" kind of lube, to heighten the men's sexual experience. It gives a magical aura to the drawing.
2. The detail in this version of "Black And Mild (pencil version)" gave me the opportunity to express my fetish for hands and feet. I remember that the majority of this piece, was created with a mechanical pencil. This helped me develop a texture and detail, with the palms of his hands and feet soles, in which are two of my favorite physical features to draw. I took more time to finish this drawing. It is on a 14 x 17 sheet of Bristol board. It was one of my personal favorites, for a period of time, after completion.
3. " Coffee And The Morning Paper", was inspired by a fantasy of mine. I envisioned a bulky, handsome and confident man, who exudes a sexiness, that comes across as appearing cocky, seductive and alluring! He strides outside of his house early in the cool morning, wearing a robe and skull cap, to get his daily newspaper. He does not wear any slippers or shoes. And he could care less, if anyone sees him. In fact, he invites the gawking, because he knows he is hot!
