1. I have drawn portraits, usually when nothing else motivates me, or my mood causes me to lose interest in my ideas. It is similar to drawing trees, when I feel as if something should be created. I could not deny drawing another tree or portrait, when the frustration of not drawing anything, suddenly develops. It is the safest approach, regarding subject matter, without much controversy. I do not have to be concerned with hiding a drawing of a tree or portrait, from coworkers, family members or visitors. I was waiting for my mom to come out of the store, on a weekend. I pulled out my sketch pad, and began an idea of a handsome, bearded man, with curly hair. I did several sketches and completed a final drawing with the Micron pens of "The Sweetest Gaze", a few weeks later.

2. This is the first drawing, that I created of "Quilted Patterns (colored pencil version). It is on a 14x17 inch sheet of drawing paper. It was also a favorite of mine, for a period of time. I had it hanging in my bedroom, after completion, for a brief period. I was excited to capture the scene of a beautiful, dark- skinned man, lying nude, in the center of various, vibrant colors! This particular version is too large, for my scanner, so it had to be cropped, based upon what I wanted to display, and leave out.

3. " A Look Before the Plunge " was another random sketch, that turned into a completed drawing. It is 11x14 inches, as I was experimenting with larger sized drawings, besides my usual 9x12 inch preference. I was in a horny mood, and picked up a ballpoint pen, and did my thing. The darkness of the washes, turned out very well, and enhances the mood of my intense lust, during the creation of this piece.
